Hi, I’m Carmen Schäfer,

alias Loli Bäh (just when I’m illustrating - a creative meditation for me!).

I’m German by birth but heart-rooted in the north of Spain, where my journey as a designer has been shaped by a mix of creativity, strategy, and innovation.

I began my career in Barcelona as a fashion designer for Nike, Ailanto, and Elisa Amann before joining LOEWE in Madrid, working under Artistic Director Jose Enrique Oña Selfa. Later, I launched my own label, creating unique women’s collections and coordinating large-scale events like NUDAGE ‘11 and the Muestra Nacional de Jóvenes Diseñadores de Moda, blending my love for visual storytelling with strategic planning.

About three years ago, I discovered UX Design, and everything clicked—strategic thinking, problem-solving, and creativity all came together. After completing my studies, I worked remotely as a UX/UI design intern for Locaverse, where I built design systems, conducted user research, and delivered interactive prototypes. Most recently, at Flowerworker, I’ve led UX/UI projects for SaaS platforms, creating scalable design systems and high-fidelity prototypes while collaborating across time zones.

Today, I’m passionate about crafting intuitive, user-centered solutions that balance usability, aesthetics, and business goals. And when I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me illustrating—it’s my way of unwinding and finding inspiration in the little things :)
